For most Israelis, the word Tuborg is associated with the good Vienna lager Tuborg Red. It is a nice amber-colored lager, moderately dense and not very bitter. It is the kind of beer that most people like. There is also a small segment – light Tuborg Green. A beer that is good for quenching thirst, but no more.

There were other attempts to bring out different versions of this brand: Tuborg Blue delighted us all for several years in a row, and then there was the first (!) beer of Israeli Carlsberg-a beer that won a certificate of honor as an outstanding beer in its category – Tuborg Black. For one reason or another, they were discontinued, although many Israeli beer lovers still remember them…

And finally, good news – the release of a new beer is always good news! In the coming days, another Tuborg will appear on the shelves of supermarkets – Tuborg Gold. It will be an unusual for Israeli’s pale Tuborg, or rather, light-golden. Unlike its “big brother”, the new beer has a completely different flavor, it is “cleaner” and more delicate. Light clear bitterness paired with medium body and not high alcohol (only 5%), form an amazing bouquet, where each parameter is almost perfect. A great classic pilsner, perfect for our hot climate.

Carlsberg brewers once again showed us how wide the world of beer is and gave us another wonderful lager – Tuborg Gold!
